never heard the Swans but these sound quite nice right out of the box so they should only improve in the next 100 hours or so

I just bought a pair of these http://www.rmcaudiodirect.com/Raxxess-ERSS-42-p/erss-42.htm for my 9's. Very sturdy and the price isn't bad either. You can fill them with sand as you put them together as well.

RMC has them for FAR cheaper than anyone else.

Sanus Steel Foundations are pretty nice. Not sure what you're looking to pay.
The SF26 (26") run $100 - $150.
