My son's future father in law is building a new home theater and he gave my son a bunch of audio gear that he hasn't used in 20 years. He gave him a Luxman L-80V integrated amp, a Yamaha CT 810 tuner, a Harman Kardon HK 460i receiver, two Pioneer 6 disc CD players, a Harman Kardon CD 401 cassette deck, two Omega speakers and two huge Infinity speakers that he hasn't dragged home yet. They all look great and work fine. I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about the Luxman, I can't find any info on it. My son says that I can have it if I want. It is spotless and I really like the silver face.

    Here's some info,
Mfg between 1976-1980, 50w per channel.
Luxman is very good quality and if it's in good shape your son will be a very happy camper!!!. It's a nice looking unit. Here's a good site to learn more about them. Luxman

Hey....Never pass up on a Free Luxman score! You should take it, keep it and use it if your son doesn't want it.

You'll never have a 2nd chance after he listened to it. LOL
Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:
