Not if it's only once in a while. Besides, it's good for your taste buds, and bacon was invented by angels because they wanted to make us happy :D

Yeah, in my book it is. 'Cause it means you gave out 1/4 of a pound from the finish line!

Nope, at least according to my neighbors friend who eats a full pound at one sitting, twice a week.

Dont think I would try that at my age, a pound of greasy bacon and a few beers would be a sure recipe for needing to wear an adult diaper for the next couple of days :p

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

It wasn't turkey bacon. That's not bacon. It wasn't Natty Light, that's not beer.

It was Hillshire Farms Extra Thick Sliced Applewood Smoked Bacon and Yuengling Traditional Lager.

I was being a smartass to fatchowmein who likely found the humor while others seem to think I'm some kind of moron.

It was quite good! I think I'll have it for lunch today!

    12-ounce package of bacon ?

That's called a waste of time and energy.

Get yourself the full pound package and also consider getting a 16 ounce tub of Dean's French Onion Dip.

Mmmmmmmm ......... crisp bacon slathered with French onion dip, washed down with nice cold Yuengling Traditional Lager ............

    mmmmmmmmmmmmm
