Maybe you are using the wrong password, caps on or something? Or, you tried to sign in with the wrong password and it threw you out and the password is no longer good.Vinyl, the final frontier...

Odd... I just loaded a computer for a client with a fresh load of Windows XP. Nothing on it but all the latest Windows Updates. Still doesn't work. I get the login screen, enter my username, and it just goes back to the username screen. After about 4 tries, it goes to my challenge question. Enter my challenge answer... same deal... after a while, it might take me to my Passmark page... but I never get beyond that. It never accepts my password.
Odd. I just logged in again, seemed a bit slow, but no other issues. -

I know from the past, that if I log into this system with the wrong password, it gives me an error. Never at any time does it tell me I've entered anything wrong.
Plus that wouldn't explain the multiple attempts just to get to the password screen.
Maybe it's just one out of many servers that isn't working? But you would hope they'd have some sort of failover.
I did just think of something, though... I have Verizon DSL at home, and at work, I was on our external connection, which is also Verizon DSL. I don't know that I ever tried it on our T1 connection. I'll have to try that tomorrow.
I'll also try it on my Verizon phone connection in a minute.Ludicrous gibs! -
Okay, I've now tried it on 4 different computers, and a total of 4 different internet connections. Still no go.
Guess it's time to call back in and play dumb ("I can't get signed into my account - can you help me?"), and see what they say. When I got on with website support before, I just asked, "How long is your payment website going to be unavailable?" and the guy told me "A few days". This time, I'll give them the opportunity to be the ones to tell ME that the payment site is unavailable.Ludicrous gibs! -
Keep calling and logging tickets--get ticket numbers or call reference #s--If you have to contest the issue/charges, having some kind of ammo like that might help.
I had similar problems with Citibank--they also service Sears and I think Home Depot, I was unable to make a payment to them for several days online--A phone payment would incur a charge, and I had no time to go into a Sears, etc., that really irked me. Most of my stuff is on auto pay, but some (like Sears) is not since for some reason they have 4 accounts for me at Sears and they keep **** up which one gets the charges and they don't apply the money correctly--so until they fix that I'm manually reviewing and paying everything related to Sears.
I'm all for autopay and ease of process like that, but there are times where it can be dangerous too (such as when you are low on balances, etc) which can result in overdraft fees out the wazzu.
On the issue where the site is working for WilliamM2 but not you, they are apparently a company that services several CC clients/banks--So they will likely have different servers for different clients to keep things separate (and more secure)--so that could explain why it might be working for some but not others.
A week or two with the servers down is unacceptable in this day and age--I hope your CU management is raising HOLY HELL with them about this.____________________

Today I can't get in at all, just returns to the login screen. Must be an intermittent problem. -

Do you have a customer service # on the back of your card? My card doesn't have one, but I found this on other credit union sites - 1-866-604-0380. Calling that number currently returns a busy signal.
Edit - Okay - found one that works - 1-800-615-1161Ludicrous gibs! -

The customer service number just goes to Visa if I recall. They don't have anything to do with ezcardinfo. Ezcardinfo handles card payments for many credit unions and smaller banks. -

Here's some info I found online... Lord only knows if it's true-
"eZCardInfo is a website operated by VISA and helps to manage the payment process and online services for the VISA card issued through credit unions or other financial institutions. eZCardInfo itself is not a scam, but depending on the credit card you get, some people may not be too happy with the fees associated with the card or may not have read the fine print before signing up for it. The website review itself is certainly not great since it lacks the design you would expect from large financial websites and therefore the poor site design does undermine its credibility as a site to manage financial information. Complaints on the site include insecurity in using the site due to its design and a lack of disclosure of any association with financial institution. Other complaints include poor customer service even if they had provided a phone support line and other issues related to the credit card itself."Ludicrous gibs! -
I don't know how much of it is true, but some of it isn't. It is a secure site, and it does require more than just a password and username to access like my Chase card, as you know. And the name of my credit union and their logo is at the top of the page when I log in.
I've been using it for at least 5 years, I'm not worried. -
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Hey William - are you able to sign into your CU card website? When I try, I enter the username and it gives me an error that "This service is not available for your account"
At least it gives me an error...Ludicrous gibs! -
a week later and you're still dealing with this? I'd drive the 30 minutes, and tell the manager you want some sort of credit applied for the hassle of having to overcome their idiocy.......comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

Same error. Glad I haven't used that card yet this month. -
I really wish I could take my business elsewhere... but it's not feasable for me at this point. If this continues into next week, I'll be going to the CU to see what they say. It's not their system, so the only thing they could do to fix it would be to change processors, and I doubt they'd do that.Ludicrous gibs!

The site FINALLY worked this morning!
First try, it accepted my password, but instead of going to my account details it just went to a "page cannot be displayed" error. Refreshed, and I was actually able to view my account. Huzzah!Ludicrous gibs! -
Good!! but, sheesh...what a PITA! I would be making a change as soon as possible.Yep, my name really is Bob.

Well, I guess they're still working on it. Just tried to log in and got the "We're sorry, this service is not available for your account".
At least I got in long enough this morning to retrieve transaction detail for a business dinner that I lost the reciept for. Needed to submit that expense report...Ludicrous gibs! -

In the five years or longer that I've been paying online, I have never had an issue with thier site before.
I don't know about nadams, but I've had this card for 27 years, and though I don't carry a balance, interest is currently 6.9%. I think I'll stick with it a while longer. -

I'm sticking with it as well. I've only had this card for 3 years, but this is the first time they've had an issue. My interest rate on this card is 10%. My other card is 19.8% (Capital One).
The reason I got it is because they were offering 4.99% on balance transfers for as long as it took you to pay the transfer off. True to their word, 3 years later, my transfers are still holding at that rate. Sadly, my lack of discipline with money in the past means that I haven't paid the card down far enough to pay any of that lower rate balance off. For now I'm concentrating on finishing off that 27% engagement ring loan and my 19.8% card.
Not to take it completely off topic, but a few years of carelessness with my money in the past is going to effect me for the next decade... and that's provided that I'm able to keep it under control from here on out.Ludicrous gibs! -

Check out the Dave Ramsey website and start listening to his stuff. I started listening to him about 2 years ago and although it is all common sense it keeps me interested and on track. My position today is QUITE different that it could have been because I started giving each dollar a name. He also made me realize that just because debt is considered normal doesn't mean its heathy or reasonable. Now that everything is paid off and I have some savings I feel far richer and more secure than I used to.Vinyl, the final frontier...

I've been poking around his site for a while, off and on. I've just never applied anything and stuck with it. Luckily, in my debt snowball, my highest interest rate debts ARE the ones with the lowest balances. So, I get to snowball and "avelanche" at the same time!Ludicrous gibs! -
Coolness on the interest rates! After I paid everything off except the house I started making these crazy accounts and funding them for this and that and started paying towards them. After the money was there I pretty much didn't even want to spend it. Now I have something many people never have... savings above what I owe that actually belongs to me.
I'm really working towards getting enough together to wipe out the house. I think I'm 36 months away but who knows what audio necessity I might have to pick up...
Dave is right, if you concentrate on any given thing you accomplish it pretty quickly and its easier to get excited about it. Way to go nadams!Vinyl, the final frontier...
