Sub/amp question

Alright, I currently have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P200-2 Amplifier (2 ch. class AB) for a sub output. the amp has the following specs:
RMS Power Rating:
-4 ohms: 50 watts x 2 chan.
-2 ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan.
-Bridged, 4 ohms: 200 watts x 1 chan.
I was looking into getting the Polk DXi112 Sub Enclosure with the following specs:
-Nominal Impedance: 2 Ohm
-Power Handling (RMS): 360 Watts
So I'm curious as to whether wiring the polk sub (@ 2 ohms) will work with my amp bridged (@ 4 ohms) without any ill effects?
Or should I just wire sub into a single channel @ 2 ohms at a lower output? and is that harmful to just run off a single channel on a 2 ch. amp?

I'm afraid bridged into 2 ohms would be TOO MUCH for that amp. From the manual:
These amplifiers are not recommended for impedance loads below 2 ohms
stereo and 4 ohms bridged.TNRabbit

You'd just have to run it off one channel. Those punch amps cant handle 2 ohms bridged. If it was the power series, I'd say go for it...but the punch amps certainly arent designed for it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've gone with a 4 ohm JL off of the rf amp. Works brilliantly.
