Has anyone had the pleasure of seeing this show yet? Thinking of getting tickets for a Minneapolis show next week. Prices are quite spendy and I have Pink Floyd live 7 times just was wondering how the band that supports him is. Thanks

I was really hoping to go see it with my dad in December...but tickets are way too expensive for my budget :(

I'd jump at a chance to go and see Roger Waters. Wish we could get more bands to perform over here. Good concerts in Hawaii are few and far between.

Thanks Keiko didnt see that one, yeah they are VERY spendy for a show....but do not think that roger will be doing many other tours....hope all is well is the islands............

I saw him on the tour he did a few years back when he performed 'Darkside of the Moon' in its entirety. It was a killer show. He had a great band supporting him. He is definitely worth seeing live.

Saw him in Dallas about 2 weeks ago. UNFLIPPIN believable. As george daniel stated "Good Gawd,, wow". It is the quintessential rock show. I've seen many concerts through the years, but this topped them all. You won't be disappointed...well worth the $220 ticket. There was so much going on that I want to see it again.

I was in high school in Germany during the original tour 30 or so years ago. Many of my friends went and I kick myself for not going...I just didn't get it back then. I do now!

I was on the left side of the stage, 17 rows back. The Dallas concert allowed pics without flash so here are some of what I took:

Great pics!! The Vancouver show tickets say no recording devices of any kind including cameras. I'm sure there will be a blu ray eventually though.

GD is correct, there is an announcement at the beginning. The ushers pestered folks that were recording video, not pic's. I was able to get about a dozen short video clips from my pocket sized Canon. If you have a small camera I'd bet you'll be ok. Pic's or it didn't happen!

Too funny! I remember the good 'ol days when you bought extra long tube socks to stuff the SLR camera body/lens and rolls of film to shove in to sneak pics

    I f*cking love The Wall.

There was a time in my life when I left a cassette of The Wall in my car stereo for two years. Every time I got in my car I picked up where I left off. I must have gone through the entire album a couple hundred times. It's one of very few albums that I've listened to that many times.

Now that I think about it, that was a very depressing time in my life. I wonder if listening to The Wall for two years made me depressed or if my being depressed made me listen to The Wall for two years.?

I remember those days. I went to a Jackson Browne concert a few months ago and smuggled my DSLR in using my cargo shorts. Stock lens in one pocket and body in another. I realized they didn't care who took pics and was disappointed I didn't bring in a bigger lens. The new cameras are awesome in low light. No more slide film "pushed" to ASA 1200 and having to pass on special instructions to the photo shop to develop a bit longer.

Here's a decent interview w/Roger Waters. He discusses the new tour and speaks about his state of mind when he did the original show.

Saw the show last night in Vancouver. Unreal! Far out! Trippy man! The Wall show is over the top and by a mile the best rock concert I've ever been to. So far beyond just a rock concert, it was a total spectacle. The best part is that with a few little exceptions Roger and the other musicians stayed totally true to the original music. The guy on lead who did the Gilmour solos sounded so much like Gilmour it was eerie. This is absolutely a show worth seeing at almost any price. The other thing was that Waters was very personable. No hint of the arrogant and self involved guy he used to be. He seems very humble now and genuinely enjoys playing and touring putting on this show. I never thought I'd get to see Pink Floyd but this was very close to the full meal deal. In a word...WOW.

Fongolio, I knew you wouldn't be disappointed. So, should we all fly over to Europe for a 2nd show? We could have a Wall Polkfest. Did you get pictures?

I saw Cheap Trick a week ago Friday and lets just say after seeing The Wall, there was no comparison...but, don't get me wrong, Cheap Trick still rocks! At 60+ Rick Nielsen is one of the hardest working guitarists in rock, today.

Great to see you enjoyed the show!

Just a couple weeks ago I saw Cheap Trick on HDNet doing a recent live show and I was totally impressed with how those boys still rock out. You gotta love Rick Nielsen's many guitars, some of them downright freaky.

No pics from the show, I forgot my camera!! Oh well, this will be on blu ray within a year. One other note from the concert, I've got to say I was moved to tears durring the playing of Vera Lynn and Bring The Boys Back Home when they play video on The Wall of soldiers returning home to their families. Powerful stuff that almost made me ball.

I saw the show back in October. Yes, best concert I have ever been to. Question, who is the guy that walks around the main floor before the concert? He is at every one! He pushes a cart full of crap then throws the doll up on the stage. Who is that??
Things are more like they are now than they ever will be!

I don't know who he is or what he represents. I like his sign though "Homeless. Need money for booze and hookers". There's something to be said for honesty.

He's a member of the band...the guy I went to the concert with spotted him on the stage. Not 100% sure, but I agreed it looked like him.
