Couldn't tell you on the Onkyo but I sure like my Elite.

Just as a addendum to my post, the repair shop just called to tell me my Integra is fixed, it needed 8 capacitors changed on the HDMI board, which is the exact same fix they use for SRx06 Onkyo models..

Integra used to mean something, now they are just re-badged Onkyo's with a different face plate, so I'm not surprised it used the same parts/fix. I've had a 9.8 and an 885 open side by side, not a single difference inside at all. The Onkyo's toroidal even had a label on top that said "Custom designed for Integra". I guess they normally put a sticker over it that says "Onkyo".

Agreed. I have the TX-NR5008 and aside from aesthetics, it's the same internally to the Integra DTR series. It used to be exclusive but that was years ago. I do prefer the aesthetics of the Integra lineup over the stock Onkyo. Any high-end shop that sells Integra is simply embarrassed to carry Onkyo....audio snobbery will always exist.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
