i have a 2 channel amp that is 2 ohms: 250 watts x 2 chan. and a sub that is RMS Power Range : 75-300 Watts. Do i have to bridge it or do i just hook up the one sub to one channel on the amp, will this work?

    JL 12 inch W3 2ohm isn't a model number.
when i type that in google it gives me JL Audio 12W3v3-2 which is 500W RMS, not 75-300 like u stated in your first post.

what's exact model of your sub?? It is stated on box/manual and in most cases on the back of the sub.
