I was wanting to know if any of you guys have used a splitter and if it affected your picture/audio ?
My hdmi cables are broke and the ones that work keep dropping the signal because of lil cracks inside the wire so I'm should get these first before I splurge on the audio cables
Mono price has some decent stuff but is it any good. Their site seems too good to be true with all the 5 star reviews but I realy dont think video cable needs to be as well made as audio cables as its just digital info right?

I have used Monoprice HDMI cables and a splitter for my home theater. I am using Monoprice 3 or 6 ft HDMI cables from the HD DVD player, Xbox360 and HTPC to my receiver and a Monoprice HDMI splitter to run the video to a 42" plasma and a projector. I do not notice any change in the video at all through the splitter. I did get the premium model splitter here:

I can't recommend them enough.
Edit: Just a FYI I also used their 14ga in wall speaker wire to wire my entire theater as well as their Toslink cables and RCAs. Again, all good stuff there.
