Price for subwoofer?

Had no clue where to post this, decided on here since not as much traffic in the sub thread area. My buddy wants me to build him a sub. And ever since I've been looking into what to build him, all of a sudden I got the bug to build myself a new one even tho I just recently built myself one lol. Just built it back in April and bought everything brand new. I was just wondering what you guys think I could ask for my current sub, so that I can help fund the new one. It's a Dayton RF series 15 with 300 watt bash amp. Never did end up buying the 500 watt like I planned, guess I kinda forgot about it as it sounded great. This is still a beast tho, and has good sound quality. Has been great for HT and music. I have a link to the build thread for pics. Any honest opinions would be helpful. Thank you!

That's a mighty fine looking sub you got there. Even the craftsmanship is beautiful.
How much were the parts and how many hours of labor?
If it's low, and it's for a friend, I'd add $175 - $250. I guess I'm comparing it to Epiks, which are supposedly a great sub for an even better price...and they're highly regarded in many of the forums I frequent.
An Epik Legend, which has dual 12s is going for $499. It's pretty bland looking, but it'll probably have great bass for a small price. On craftsmanship alone, your sub looks much nicer (even the woofer looks nicer than the Epiks).
Have you ever thought about selling some subs to Polkies? You never know where this might lead...In all honesty, I'd check you out...especially if you were able to provide some numbers that would back up the sub.HT: RTi8s, CSi3, RTi4s, HSU ULS-15, Pioneer Elite VSX-23TXH, Sunfire Cinema Seven.
2CH: CJ MF2300, Parasound P3, PS Audio DLIII, Wadia 170i, Music Hall Maverick, Sierra-1s, Sunfire HRS8 -
Well the sub and amp came out to a little over $300 and the total with building materials was about $400. Not sure on exact hours, but I built it in 3-4 days I think lol. And thank you, I actually thought it just looked ok after I was done with it lol. One of my friends actually told me I should start building these as well, but I'm just a novice and still have a lot to learn about building these things. But it does perform great for my first HT sub, especially for what it cost to build. My old sub cost more than this and there is no comparison, this crushes it which was also a 15.I love animals, they're delicious!
