I received a fax today about a person wanting sushi for a party, I replied (first email posted in red) only to get the second email on this post. The scammers must be running out of people to scam. Well was good for an early morning laugh today :D

Hi David

The price for 250 California rolls would be $875.00. Each roll would cost $3.50 each and is cut into 8 pieces. If you only wanted 250 pieces of sushi than it would 32 rolls @ $4.50 each for a total of $135.00. We accept Visa or MasterCard and we are located at #(*% Steele Creek Road , Charlotte .

All catering orders must be paid in full 5 business days before the order is picked up. This order would need to be settled on Monday 10/25 in order to be picked up on Friday 10/29 at 3pm

AND THE REPLY IS.....................

I love how most if not all scams use incorrect grammar. If you want to fool someone, at least make it seem like it's not a scam from a foreign country.

I thought this was somehow related to the Tucker Maxx "Sushipants" story. The kind of story that legends are made from :)

Seriously, what language is that reponse in? That's not the English language I've come to know...

that's great. it's amazing that scammers haven't caught on to the grammar issue.

I love how they think little religious messages add to their credibility "stay blessed"

This poor guy David probably has a wedding party waiting for the sushi and you will disappoint them. Oh well, he will be in the hospital anyway, but his brother, head of the mafia, will be somewhat put out that his only sons wedding was destroyed by you. I can only imagine the consequences... :)
