If you decide to go for bookshelf maybe check for the new TLs before going for the VMs. I think you might get a better bang for the buck with the TLs versus the VMs.ha yeh i kinda noticed dat nd decided id keep my big look speakers ha =]DARE TO SOAR:

I have VM's. They are a nice speaker for there size. That being said I only use them really for HT and they need a sub. I have used them without and half the sound just disappears.
I should have gone for the TL's. -
No fair... I never find barely used speakers in my closet...ALRIGHT SO I GOT MY PIONEER RECIVER AnD AMP IS ON ITS WAY I JUS WANTED TO KNO IF THE POLK VM LINE IS ANY GOOD?! and also if anybody wants to buy a POLK CS20 center speakers i found it it my closet its in like new condition and bearly even used it!?

Keep in mind the TLs also need a sub... However, considering all the hype around the TL I figure they'd be much better SQ wise. The VM were built more around the looks (which is a good thing for someone that has the WAF as priority) but they still never appealed to me.I have VM's. They are a nice speaker for there size.
