    Too late. Besides the 1 playoff victory over the Eagles in Jan 2010, we haven't won a playoff game since 1996 (Super Bowl ****). Hopefully, ESPN Classic will rebroadcast the Cowboy '92 season.

    Then again, for the third time since the middle of last season, I have heard rumors that Big D is entertaining Bill Cowher for head coach. I'm starting to think there might be something to that. He did not rule out a return to coaching and the Dallas talent pool would be complimentary to his coaching style with stifling defense and a punishing running game on offense.

    Bottom line, 91 yards in penalties is "average" for the Cowboys. I used to think it was guys like Flozell Adams who was old and nursing nagging injuries trying to defend his position and getting penalties 'cause he was getting run around. But all the guys who made the most penalties are gone and it's still not unheard of to have 120 yards in penalties against the Cowboys per game. That's a touchdown and a punt return. That would have won the game against Minnesota.

    It's not a player problem anymore. Romo can lead the team when he doesn't have to cater to prima donna players like T.O. The running game should be one of if not the best in the league with 3 punishing backs in rotation. The receiving corps is better than it's been since the Irvin/Harper "Twin Tower" days. The defense held the Vikings to 188 yards of total net offense. How do you out-gun the Vikings for 314 yards net to their 188 yards net and still LOSE the game?

    The issue is coaching and lack of discipline. Jerry Jones needs to make some changes in the coaching staff. Special Teams and the Head Coach are two areas coming to mind.

    I guess the Panthers don't have a 1st rounder this year? Otherwise, they seem to be the team to beat for the 1st spot.

    As long as Jerry Jones doesn't have an autonomous GM Bill Cowher will never work for him.. you saw what happened with Parcells. Now if Jerra goes out and gets himself a GM who is able to do his job and that GM goes and gets Cowher completely different. I'm not a cowboy fan and I did my Middle and HS years in the dallas area in the early 90's, and Jerry Jones is the main reason i'm not a fan.

    The sad thing is if the Cowgirls keep it up the city will be so deflated by time superbowl arrives there wont be a single person from Texas in the stands

    ...agreed, so are the celebration penalties. Coaching staff at fault big time on all the penalties. But, as a NYG fan I can only hope it continues for at least 1 more game!

    It could be worse, you could be a Lion's fan. We have been bad for sooooo long that we are excited that we got "a" win. Its almost disapointing when preseason is over and the games start to count. At least the Cowboys won't go 0-16. the motto: Always next year!

    I expected the offese to suffer once Romo went down but the defense was worse. That's Wade's baby. That being said,the whole organization needs to be looked at,including Jerry.(Like that'll happen)
