I love Nebraska football, but you can't bring your B-game against Texas.
WTF? ...and why the hell do you onside kick with 3+ minutes left in the game and one of the better defenses in the NCAA???? I just don't get that one.
Guess if some passes would get caught it might help - pull Martinez 'cause backs and receivers can't catch the ball - great gameplan.
OK I'm done whining - get ready for Okie St then on to Mizzou.

actually they pulled Martinez, b/c he was predetermining his option read pre snap, and Texas caught on to this ... but you're right his job is much harder when wide open receivers drop the ball...but I'm glad the Longhorns were able to finish out with a win. It would have been bad if we had lost 3 in a row.Main 2ch -

Nebraska did what Texas has done the past two games...beat themselves. Texas has done it with penalties and turnovers, Nebraska did it with dropped passes.
I'm obviously over-simplifying, but you get the point.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
I knew Texas was going to come in ready - I had hoped Nebraska was prepared for the fact that the Longhorns were not about to loose three in a row.
The Huskers still have some work to do!!
