Phono preamp question

I recently purchased a Pioneer VSX 1020 AV receiver for my HT system. Wish I had gotten the 1120 but that is another story. Anyway I have an old Bang and Olufsen Beogram RX-2 turntable I wish to use but of course the new AV receivers don't have a phono input. I have been looking at the ART USB PhonoPlus V2 preamp. I assume that I can use this unit with the turntable on any unused input on the receiver. I don't need anything fancy just basic playback and occasional copy to the computer. Am I on the right track? Any suggestions or comments?

If you have a unused input it will work just fine--BTW--jerryj12 has one that he might let go --shoot him a pm
