Has anyone seen the home theater seating offered by Costco? I have seen them only online. The cost is very reasonable! I think a 3 peice set was $1500. I looked at other companies & $1500 would be only one chair if that. Has anyone purchased a set? If so how is the build quality & is it comfortable? I didnt know where to post this, sorry if it is in the wrong area.
Thanks

There's a link that includes most of what Costco offers on their site, including both individual pieces and sets that come with everything you would need.

Pretty good deal, especially if you're in the market for some cool furniture.

As far as having seen this stuff at a local Costco, it is definitely not at the one I shop at here in Atlanta. All they seem to carry is just your basic run of the mill leather furniture, much like Sam's Club.

Heres a link to the chairs Im talking about. http://www.costco.com/frameset.asp?trg=subcat%2Easp&catid=93&subid=2706&hierid=4044&log=&NavTop= Sorry its not $1,500 its $1,650 for the 3 chairs in micro fiber or $1,800 in leather. Looks ok in the pic but I wouldnt buy it without seeing or talking to somone who has it. Im kinda looking for some chairs for my setup, but everything I say was very expensive, even at dealer cost. I looked at HT chairs at CES 2003 & we were thinking of being a dealer & selling HT chairs. The dealer prices were between $1000 - $3000 ea. & retail from $1,500 - $4,000. After seeing the costco pricing I thaught I may be better off buying from costco if the quality is good. Darn the chair I liked at CES at was about $1,750 ea. Dealer cost. Gee I could get a set of three for about the same from Costco. The Costcos here dont have any demos. I think I was told it was a online order item only.

Why not go and get a black square arm'd couch and buy those middle wedges to put on the end for drinks. I think that you could even find a leather couch in which both sides do a recline.......Home Theater exclusive seating is too limiting IMO.......
