Very nice. Are spikes to go in place of those screws? And will you stain the top black also? Excellent work.

lol....well the screws are kinda going to be the spikes unless Roy wants to put some real ones on them. And when the speaker is sitting on the stand it will cover the top plate so really no need to paint it black.

Glad you guys like them. Roy had said he liked the look of the clear coated cedar on mine. So thats why I put the piece of cedar in the middle of the uprights on this pair.

They are not to spec of the originals. The bottom and top plates are smaller. The bottom plate is the same dimensions as the bottom of the M10 cab. Tilt is 3 degress.

Thanks again. My son simply loves the stands. It's cool having young audio nut in the house.

    Thank again,

There great aside from the "spikes". The contrast of color is very nice.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks Mark!

Yeah I wasn't too pleased about the screws for spikes either. But hey, it was DIY with NO budget! lol

Well, look at it this way, they're adjustable....and not every expensive stand even has that.
