Ok so as i sayed before im gettin the A'7s and the emotiva xpa3 but my reciver has not outs shud i get the pioneer VSX 1020 i got the warranty and trade in from best buy so im trying to stay around tht range does the pioneer have capability to connect sep. amp?!?! if not then wuts another good A/V wit outs wit atleast 7.1 and 100wpc? around tht rangefrom best buy!? plz i need help!

    Damn i jus saw it i kaint do 5.1?! =[ i need help PLZ a7 and emotiva will be shipping and i need a new reciver below 750! tht can be amped and has 5.1 capable of 7.1 and 3d...

    as xcapri79 mentioned, the VSX-1120k can do 5.1 and 7.2, has pre-outs, is available for ~$550, and has 3d support.

    All you do is connect the pre-outs for the FR, C, FL to the 3 inputs on the amp with good rca stereo cables. You can let the Pioneer power the surrounds.

    You should be good to go.

    Yes but I looked at specs and it says not able to do 5.1?!=( is it wrong?? If it kan problem solved if notaghh!=/

    The Pioneer VSX-1120? It's a 7.1 receiver, so it'll do 5.1. Just ignore the rear surrounds if you don't have 'em. In fact here is a link to the manual for the receiver so you're prepared:

    I had the 1020 sold it and I know the 1120 has 5.1 on preout 7.1 on board download the manual from pioneer pg 19

    When your just walking into audio/video and setting it all up, it will get you every time. It happened to me when I was building the theater room, and going front projection for the 1st time.

    He'll slow down and figure it out I goofed several months ago when the crappy distributor let me walk out with the LSi and 1020 in May cause it was a new line for them. Brought the gear home Friday got with CP and was shopping again Monday. Lesson learned....slow down
