sandisk freezes

My wife takes alot of pictures and we've put them onto memory chips and digital picture frames - way cool.
Except, we have a sandisk pqi 2GB chip that constantly freezes after a couple of minutes.
Put in a Kingston chip in the same digital frame and it just runs and runs and runs - no freezing.
Put the sandisk chip back in and it freezes.
Anyone experience this? Any advice?
