I just ordered a Harmony 700 remote from Amazon. Does anyone own one of these, and if so how do you like it?

    I don't have that specific model, but in all, we have 3 Harmonys in the house. One for each TV setup and one for my 2-ch gear. They are fantastic, but that comes with taking a little time to set them up correctly and customize the buttons for your needs. I have never found a device that did not have codes in the Logitech database.

    i dont have that model either but have a different Harmony. It is one of my all time favorite purchases. Make sure you set it up correctly and you will wonder how you ever managed before.

    I have 3 Harmony 720's with rechargeable bases, and a URC MX900. I have enjoyed the harmony's very much.

    Harmony One has treated me great. It's very easy to build out macros for it. So I have a "watch DVD" button on my remote, that will change my TV to HDMI input 1, change my receiver to DVD input, and turn on my PS3 (I have the IR adapter for my PS3.)

    you can even put in ~4 pages of channel icons, so if I want to watch CBS I just hit the pretty CBS icon and off I go.

    I personally love my Harmony.

    I deliberated on getting the 700 but ended up finding a brand new one on Ebay that came with the extra IR kit for $186 so I was quite happy. So far, much, much better than the older 676 it replaced. Works all my older Carver gear along with my newer stuff no problem.
