Fair price. Better have a stoudt amp to drive them. Impedance dips below 1 ohm at certain frequencies.

I smoked a Pioneer A-9 integrated on RS-IIIb's. Only piece of audio I ever owned that went up in smoke. I still don't know why it blew, I wasn't jamming when she went.

A friend of mine had a pair of Kappa 8's and to get them to really sing he had to bi-amped them. With a single amp it did not take much pushing to cause it to trip. I believe he used a couple of Denon POA 2400(?). They were rated at 200 wpc and even with both amps running they would get hot.

Never heard them but always thought they were some sexy speakers!

Steve the A9 was my first integrated! And I still have it and it still works flawlessly.

Yeah, heck that was like 1983'ish? That was the last receiver and/or integrated I owned. Everything was seperates after that.

Being an Army barracks, in Germany, my a-hole roomates probably spilled a beer in it and didn't tell me....LOL

Infinity made some real nice speakers back in the day. I always wanted a pair of these.
