Im not electronics tech but

In my Candela next to the power supply filter caps there are some .1uf capacitors - are these Bypass caps?

It is my understanding I would yield the best results replacing these caps?

With that value, they have to be bypass caps.

Would it benefit me to change these? Changing the filter caps themselves are a no go due to the values of the caps..

Alex at Odyssey used WIMA for these caps.

Changing those caps will result in a slightly different flavor. Whether that is a benefit or not, I can't say.

Well, one good thing about caps of that value, most of them are relatively cheap.

Small cap of value of .01uf to .1uf are used to reduce a high frequency noise which can be on ac line. This noise can be anything from phone extenders to X10 stuff. I not sure if changing them would make any difference at all, I don't think it would be worth the cost to change them.

+1...our ATM's that I work on have the same caps on the high side comms board to filter out electrical noise.

    Hmm

Im thinking about changing everything circled..

There are two sand cast resistors - I was thinking about changing them out with Mills, good idea?

The bottom caps are 1uf Sonicaps - thinking about Clarity Cap MR

The caps beside the power supply caps are real small and I was thinking Clarity Cap ESA

    Thoughts?

The bottom caps would make the best improvement to the sound. The power suppy changes I'm not sure if you would make any difference at all.

Whatever you do, change one thing at a time, starting with the coupling caps.
