The title pretty much ask the question, I went with the center first b/c I thought it was the most important but man, that thing is enormous!! What works best with my center, the RTi A5's or A7's?? Or should I return it for the A4 center and pair up the RTiA5/7's? All opinions are welcome. I have a descent size room, 22'x15' and it an open space to the kitchen, not to mention where moving soon and all homes we looking at are similiar or a little bigger.

They are all voice / timbre matched, so in that sense you'll have a good experience with either the A5 or A7. I listened to the CSi A4 at Frys, and though it sounds great, the low end (dialog esp.) is a little lacking. I ended up taking the plunge and going with the CSi A6. It is definitely a noticeable step up from the CSi A4. And my apt living room is similarly sized (perhaps narrower by a few feet). In the long run, the A6 is worth it.

Once you do the Pioneer speaker setup, it'll blend nicely. As for the towers, you'll probably get a bit more low end with the A7s since they have woofers in addition to the midrange. Otherwise, I would go listen to them both and see which one YOU like. Both will blend perfectly w/ your system.

Thanks PrazVT, I unfortunatly cant go listen to them anymore with the only store around here closing and therefore i'm reliant on reading opinions and a good return policy :), I aapreciate the info and will try to keep the A6 but man it is BIG, and thats what my wife said AS SOON as she walked in the house! :) I guess i am worried more about missing the mids from a A5/A4 mix vs a A7/A6 since I have a descent sub to pick up the lows, dont want too much bass (if thats even possible :))

When your wife walked in and said 'that thing is BIG' did you reply with 'that's what she said'

And no, you can never have too much quality bass.

:)haha, ... No but I did say something similiar....just dont want to repeat it on the forum. And your right, too much bass???whats wrong with me....novice!! Again, the mids were my main concern, don't want them to be drowned out by the bass.

With a decent sub the a5's sounds fantastic. You can't go wrong with either speaker.

oh yeah, i've studied the page, but that could just be a good rule of thumb or general assumption and practical exp means something else. Thanks though. It comes down to is it worth the size, will it work better with the A7's, or are the A5/A4 or A7/A4 combo better than the A7/A6? I know i'm beating it to death but need to be sure before I drop some cash since i'm down to the wire and second guessing myself. Thanks everyone!

I pulled the trigger on my A7's and I was "on the wire"...

I'm GLAD I did! They are a great speaker, I don't see them letting you down.

RTi A7's have a few posts lately and with good reason. Fantastic speaker for home theater use. Matched with the center you have it will sound really nice.

I have the same center that you purchased and also have the RTi A7's up front. (see sig)

The A6 is really crisp and clear. Don't take the CSi A6 back, it rocks for a center and you probably will not out grow it even if you upgrade your fronts sometime, which you probably will not have to! :)
    Good luck with your system.

I have not heard the A5's but can atest to the great sound the A7's put out for home theater use. You will not be disapointed.
