Any fellow Rolling Stones fans out there? I appreciate The Rolling Stones for all their contributions to rock between the 60s to the 80s and in my opinion they are still one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

The Rolling Stones are coming out with "Ladies & Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones" on DVD tomorrow. Reviews (http://amzn.to/a6JR8F) look pretty solid so far, so I think this one will definitely be worth getting.

Here's trailer for the DVD on Youtube http://bit.ly/ajhlzh. The Rolling Stones are a bit before my time and I love seeing live footage of them in concert. Definitely thinking about getting this one later this week on Blu-ray. To all you Rolling Stones fans out there, worth it?

From my readings the theatre viewing had some mixed reviews. Some said the audio wasn't very good. Some said they felt it is the same as previous footage. I am sure I will pick this up as well.

If they did a decent CD box sex of all the albums, I would buy in a minute.

I am watching the BluRay now. If you like the Stones it is worth buying. However, it is not state of the art. The film looks like 16mm, and the DTS-HD, while effective and done well, sounds like a high bitrate MP3. Its obvious, at least so far, whoever filmed and recorded it was not using the best gear at the time.
