I would pay about a billion dollars to beat the guy that sings that song with a baseball bat full of rusty nails. Whiney little @#$*(@.

Seriously though, a million dollars to streaking that Obama rally? Goodbye bills; hello house, Audi R8 and a fat lump in my 401K :)

It's a popular song that the title comes from. Horribly grating.... Extra good for you if you don't know what I'm talking about :D

Haha, and I usually mock people who are "proud" of being clueless of pop culture! Oops.

Haha, I wish I were clueless of this one. Ignorance is indeed bliss in this case :)

And I hear you on the pop culture thing. I've actually been trying to increase my knowledge of popular music/radio as my niece and nephew are getting older, so I'd like to know what the hell it is that they're listening to. This is a song that failed for me, along with every Nickelback song I hear :)

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.

A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate Washington spends it.

Even if it was right, it's a meaningless use of numbers that use shock value to ignore scale.

Most computers can do a billion operations in a single second. A GHz is a billion cycles per second, so your 4 GHz PC is doing 4 billion things every single tick of the clock. Funny those chain emails don't mention that stat.

I saw an interview with Richard Branson (British industrialist, Virgin Air, Virgin Records, etc.) once where they asked him what the best way was to become a millionaire. He answered, "Be a billionaire and buy an airline company." :)

Not so fast there, buddy. Jesse was alive when our ancestors were living in the Stone Age and he confirmed that to be absolutely, positively true. ;)
