speaker difference

I am new to this site and looking forward to participating. I have a question about lower end speakers. Because of budget and space I am using two monitor 30s for main in a 5.1 system. I read about the RT25is and thought I would upgrade to them, is this an upgrade? I read the Stereophile (sp)review on the 25i and was impressed. But is there that much of a difference to warrant the change?
Thanks for the input. I truly enjoy listening to much and the challenge of getting the most for the least.

    The RT25i is a vintage model from Polk and no longer in production. I bet you could get a great price on a used pair, if you came across them!. The new version is the RTiA1.

    Only your ears can tell if you'll like the 25s more. But as fireshoes says...they are a step up from the M-30s and a lot of people here who have them like them even more than the current versions? So listen if you can and if you can't, go for it...because you can always flip them on this site without losing much value.

    The RT25i s were featured in stereophile some time ago... great speakers. 5 of them would make an awesome mini 5 channel system.
