SDA 1C vs Monitor 12

SDA 1C vs Monitor 12

How would you guys compare these two speakers. I have a pair of upgraded 1c's and love them, but possition is kinda of a pain. Thinking on buying monitor 12.:D

    I can't run SDA because of my room layout and I run RTA Monitor 12b instead. Easy to set up, sound fantastic.
    I have 1C in the bedroom and RTA M12b in the front room so I know them both well.
    Except for the SDA effect they're a very similar sounding speaker size wise and detail.
    Either one should make you happy.

    Monitor 12's and rta 12's are totally different.

    That's why I specified the RTA M12b clearly just in case. These speakers have a tendency to be called by different names at times.

    Thanks HB27, the ones I am looking for are the non-rta. I am trying to compare the sda 1C vs Monitor 12.

    I had M12s and now have 1Cs. I have to agree with phocoin. THe M12s sounded good but 1Cs have a better sound stage, more 3D and dynamics.

    I always wondered how the 12s would sound if I did the crossovers and spiked them like I did the 1Cs.

    But stock comparisions the 1Cs were a better starting point.
