Speaker combination! Need opinions!

I need an opinion from you guys of taste in sounds! I already own two pair of vintage RTA 12c's and have a chance to get a hold of 1.6QR Maggies! Do you think the two types of speakers would get along together! lmao! I've heard these maggies alone and they do sound transparent and for 500 bucks they are tempting my soul to add them to my system! Give me your thoughts! THANKS!;)

    If it were me I'd get the Maggie's for a stand alone 2CH rig. How or why would you mix them? HT?

    :rolleyes:No I don't have HT and only have a 2 channel setup! Two M1.0 Mk2 Opt2 amps and 4 RTA 12c's and just thought adding the Maggies would expand the music a little! BUT.... just didn't know if the two types of speakers would sound good together! I seem to have plenty of power since I also have a M1.5T setting in the closet! Hope I don't seem like a DUMBO but I do enjoy music and it is what livens my life!:D
