picking up an xl-s12 today for a hundy...looks like a good deal..anybody have this one??

btw, it's for movies only!

    I have not had any Energy subs but I have heard a few and they are pretty good, IMO.

    I have one and 100.00 is right on.I'm selling mine for 100.00 now.

    As long as you don't turn the volume tooo high, It'll be ok. You might want more for movies though.
    If you corner load it, that might compensate (help) for movie booms. I think it was geared more for music in my opinion. In which it does very, very well. I might just keep mine to go with some Maggies I have.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    well..i got it home, tweaked around w steely dan's: 2 against nature live..it's impressive! i listened for awhile. then i put the main system on...no comparo! sda's kill! the sub probably digs deeper and at higher db.but the sda's are all about soundsage..the sub is about impact.i think for me the sub's job will be in the movie dept...i have a couple of impact drivers and a sub amp on the way:D bring some popcorn...
