Because the gif was too large to post in it's entirety , it only posted a snapshot of the gif. The same thing happened to my post above showing a link to a gif, I have the gif on my drive ...but it was larger than allowed by the forum so it only showed a snapshot...so within my edit time period I just quicly linked to a website with the same gif...but it didnt allow linking.
