What the hell do you cut this stuff with? I have some sharp scissors and have tried box cutters, but the cloth is so stretchy that I am butchering it.
I am poor at DIY and worse at sewing.

I just use a good set of scissors, glue or staple, stretch, then trim with a good blade in a box cutter..

Actual fabric shears work pretty well. Just make rough cuts. It helps if the fabric is taped down on one edge at least.
After you have rough cuts, then mount the fabric (glue or staple depending on the design) and trim it back with a new box cutter razor blade. Just pull it away while cutting. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -
You would need to use fabric sheers as stated above, with the fabric lying flat and unstretched on a table (no tension). It should cut fairly easily if you hold it in place with your other hand.

thanks...think my scissors were too dull and I was trying to hold it with one hand....I am actually using it to wrap around speaker stands, which makes it a little tricky....think my mom has about a dozen pairs of shears....
