Job interview tomorrow - been a long time

I haven't had to interview for a job in almost 7 years. This job is internal and it's going from being a chemist to a senior business analyst (computer work but business focused). Needless to say, I'm not real current with any of the interviewing processes, if they've changed.
Any advice? It's a four panel interview for 2 hours. The four on the panel are a director, two associate directors and a manager. Pretty big deal.
Thanks.

Never done a panel review for 2 hours. Most I've done so far is just either one on one with the manager or the manager and then his superior for about an hour or so.
Best of luck to you and hope it goes well!:) -
I always found it helpful to pretend I was the interviewer. The night before, I would write down every question on paper that I would ask me if I was doing the interviewing and then go back and write the answers down for them. Then I would study it (but not memorize it). This makes for a good foundation of answers creating a polished, knowledgable, confident and desirable employee.
(but again, the purpose is not to memorize the answer and sound like it's being read off of a prompt, just study them)
Hope this helps...Good Luck!

I've been through a panel interview with Sunguard. It was grueling to say the least. Present yourself as very confident without an ego and willing to do what is necessary to do the job including more education if needed. Be yourself and be honest because they WILL see right through BS. Stress your work ethic and your accomplishments.
One other thing, when asked a question pause to think and let them see that, then give your reply. If you don't know the answer to any questions, say so but be sure to add that you are a very fast learner and that it will be easily picked up.
Remain calm and personable and always be aware of your professional posture. Don't fold your arms, don't fidget, and don't be afraid to ask for a bathroom break if you feel flustered or overwhelmed.
That's all I got for now.
Good luck.
Joe
