How do I clean my tube amp?

Hi guys

I just wanted to know what you guys do to clean your tubes up or if you even need to .My tubes are getting dusty and I'm not sure of what I should use incase I cause harm

    Send the amp to Mike's Professional Cleaning Service. I promise I'll send it back to you one day :D
    Good question though...I was wondering that myself.

    I've used microfibre cloths before, seemed to work well.

    I use canned air and a lint-free or micorfiber cloth.

    I use a premium Duron paintbrush.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    SOLD!!! Seriously though bro I hope you don't have any more issues with your amp. I like the paintbrush idea which gets into the tight areas.

    I like this idea too but I dont know what a duron is although I think I have a brand new china brisstle oil brush floating around in storage

    I wonder if this is the same kind as the duron?

    It's a paint store....sorry. I would suggest something with very soft bristles, such as squirrel.

    Well if the dishwasher dont do it then I shall try that too . I have a power washer that might come in handy for the task

    I use my front load washing machine because the HE detergent is more gentle on the tubes than dishwasher detergent. After the spin cycle I immediately power up the amp so that the heat from the tubes dries out the inside.

    Vacuum hose with a brush attachment should remove any dust and junk.
