I just ran a wire from pin hole to pin hole and it worked. Used a RCA plug that I had sanded down to fit. Once I got my Pioneer Sc-37 and listening to 2 channel stereo, used "F.S.Surr Wide" on the remote and got similar sound as using the A1.
