Monitor 70's and CS2 series II center-compatable?

I have had my Monitor 70's for almost a year now. They are used in my secondary HT set up.Now I have upgraded the reciever with a Marantz SR5001 and wish to add a center to match the M70's if the wife will allow? Newegg has the CS2 series II on sale today for 129.00. Does the cherry color match? What is the difference between new and old styles. As always, Thanks,Darryl

    CS2 series II is a match for the Monitor 70s

    you should be just fine. The diff is really the look. The series 2 will have a black front vs the silver of the original series 1 monitor line.
