What offer would you not turn down?

Some dude came over to look at some speakers(not Polks) that I have for sale on Craigslist. He saw my Polk SDA 2A's and offered me $500. I told him they weren't for sale, but he kept persisting. He also wants my Marantz 2230 that I also told him wasn't for sale. Finally, I told him $150 for the Marantz. It's a little beat up and I can get another nicer one for that. Anyway, I finally gave in and figure I can get another set of SDA's for half of what he is offering. So for $650 he wants my SDA's and Marantz. Am I being stupid for considering it? He went to get his wife. I showed him some Monitor 10A's that I told him I would take $200 for-since he was being persistant-lol.

    Sell the SDA 2A's. You can find other 2A's for around 200-300 and pocket the money or upgrade to SDA 1C's for that kind of cash.

    And the more I look on CL, people are asking $200-$300 for Monitor 10's and the ones I have are outfitted with the Peerless tweeters.

    I haven't heard back from him, so either the guy was talking out of his **** or his OL laid the smack down when he got home.
