Grimmace19 (Nick) and his beautiful wife left town last night for their Honeymoon. Well since they we're headed west he stopped by and dropped of his LSi9's so I could demo them for a couple weeks, and dropped off some money for mole..

Well I hooked them up and have been listening to them for an hour or so. First let me say I wish I had spent the extra money on the LSi series for my HT rig the 9's sound beautiful even without a sub, and best of all they are not as bright as the RTiA series, I love the tweeters.

Well back to playing, and I could see myself upgrading my HT now. But I will leave it as is for now I have my money going else where right now..

The LSi9's are what I was hoping they would be..

quite jealous as I also really want a chance to listen to the 9's hooked up to my amp. I have heard nothing but good things, but I dont want to drop tons of cash before demo'in em :)

Are you going to build wall mounting brackets for Nick?

If so I'd love to see what you come up with.
    Sounds good to me...

I'm thinking stands, for one they are Heavy, Two they don't want holes in the wall.. Not saying it can't be done cause it can. but the holes Nick would have to put in the wall for the hardware would suck. Plus they rent, and they have a beautiful place...

So I think Stands with a swivil base would be nice..

^ larry, he knows how big and heavy they are (he sold them to me ;). Good luck figuring out what to do with them.... I'll be prying them out of your hands in less than 2 weeks.

Those LSi9's should sound awesome with your Adcom 5802.

dont think he has that amp anymore. i think he sold it to someone.
