Hi Polk Enthusiasts,
I am currently moving into a condo and do not think it is wise to bring my sub along, considering the neighbors. I have a PSW150 I had purchased new in 1998. The sub works great and is in great condition. Does anyone know what this sub would sell for on todays market? I think that it had an msrp of $600 at the time. Any input is appreciated.

    You might get $150-$200 for it over at e-Bay. I doubt you will find much of a market for it here in the Flea Market, unfortunately.

    And the hell with your neighbors, bring the sub along.

    Try Half.com also, if Ebay is not your thing.

    Hi, Thanks for the input. I think that for $25, I will hold onto it. 150-200 is more reasonable. I am curious why it says that I registered in 2001. I have been a member of this forum since 1998. No big deal. Thanks guys.

    Doc, I would love to be able to bring the sub. But my RT16's put out a decent amount of bass and actually shake the floor. Later

    Put a piece of Slate under the sub.

    I was being slighltly sarcastic with the $25 offer. Only because with shipping added to that, I'd be better off buying it at a closeout in a store. IMO you're better off holding on to it. Then again, if you need the money, so be it. I just don't think you're going to get what you want with it.

    I agree with you that it may be better to hold onto it. I think that subs have less resale value in general because they basically do the same thing as newer models. What I mean is, there are little advances in sub technology as compared with other speakers. And the weight will be a factor for shipping costs.

    I plan to put a concrete stepping stone under my towers to disconnect them from the floor below. I have laminate flooring so I was then going to to spike the speakers to the block and put vibration pads under the stone so it does not damage the floor.
    Do you think that the stone will tighten up the bass, yet help to minimize structure born sound leak?
