Hi, everybody. I'm new here.

I just got a pair of Monitor 60 II and Denon 391. Have no idea is my receiver powerful enough for my speakers. I feel the OK volume is at -29db, and the min and max are -68db and +18db. I have no clue about this kind of scale.

Anyone can give me a guide? Thanks.

I cant give you a guide but I can tell you based on the spec's of the reciever you should have enough power to enjoy them. Also you should have no fear of blowing them. Just turn it up till its loud enough for you (or the neighbors come aknocking... ;))

The power spec's look really close to the Denon 1610 I bought last year which is powering a set of Infinity Studio Monitor 185's and Primus 162's in my office. I keep the volume at about -17 but thats because personally I find the bass lacking under than (but room layout and acoustics play a huge roll in that).
