I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall in the mid 80s. Later in the early 90s i met a retired Lieutenant Colonel who had been the Commander of the Security Police Squadron at RAF Woodbridge in the early 80s. He told me that his units responded to a UFO sighting and landing (site) at RAF Woodbridge.

To hear him tell it they (UFOs) are real and witnessed, reported and covered up.

He seemed liked a very reliable source to me.

My wife saw one at Surf City NC. years ago. One of the silent large types.seriously folks.A real UFO.

I had a friend (polio victim)that also saw one when he was 10. lights and all. No aliens I don't think but somewhere in my memory tells me he told me he did see the little guys.

I would like to see one but doubt it will ever happen.

If I could ever figure out where we parked the d$mn mothership on this planet I would prove to you that UFO's are real  Last time we visit a planet without the GPS maps being updated :o

Seriously, do you really think that with those millions of stars you see in the night sky that we are the only life form that exists? I don't.

The Sunday Times had a good write up on Stephen Hawking about a month ago. I found the following statement interesting:
Hawking’s logic on aliens is, for him, unusually simple. The universe, he points out, has 100 billion galaxies, each containing hundreds of millions of stars. In such a big place, Earth is unlikely to be the only planet where life has evolved.

    Makes ya think a little.

I remember back around 1973-74, one Saturday night the radio news reported a sighting somewhere in Alabama. They had interviews with sheriff's deputies who shot it and had a piece of wierd medal that fell off of it. Never heard anything else about it.

Yes, there are definately Unidentified Flying Objects.
They're flying, and nobody knows what they are.
That's the real question. So far, I'm betting they aren't little green men.

His views on alien contact are just as clear and logical: We need to remain as off the grid as possible.

Let's face it, if they can get to us from elsewhere in the universe, then they can defeat us in battle and enslave or destroy us. I think he is right.
He suggests that aliens might simply raid Earth for its resources and then move on: “We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach.

Look at the numbers of people that disappear each year. Maybe the aliens look at us as "fast food" on the way to somewhere.

I did a short security stint at Mildenhall right before I retired in the later '80s.and everyone talked about it. Apparently more than one UFO did some time "examining" a couple of bases in the area. It wasn't a secret there by any means.

I saw one up close in the late 80's outside of Pendelton Indiana. Less than 75 yards away. Very little alcohol involved. Only two beers and no smoke or nothing.
It was in the papers, hundreds of witnesses, the Indiana State Police were chasing it, and it was very close on the ground where me and 4 buddies were setting up our bows for archery season that coming weekend.
WE got within about 75 yds on foot approximately when this long caravan of Police vehicles got close and the UFO took off into the atmosphere and was gone immediately. I mean real friggin fast gone WAY up high out of sight in less than a couple of seconds. talk about messing with a guys head. Freaked me the F... out! Opaque or translucient, cylindrical, and had a low frequency, pulsating, humming sound.

I also had a professor that used to work at the Skunk Works that told me about some of the technology derived from alien craft.
When I learned he worked for Lockheed at the Skunk works division I jokedly said something like "Oh, you got to work with the Area 51 spaceships". He stoicly came back with "yea, we did a lot of work with that technology".
Admittedly I can be gullable but I sure do believe him.

I'm not a UFO nut, nor do I go along with the conspiracy theorists etc.

Do I believe? I'm not sure but there's some freaky crap going on in this subject.

I'm actually going to put this in print. I need more coffee.

I heard that when the aliens come here to study us, they zap us with ray guns that make us forget we ever saw them.

So if you've never seen one, you probably see them all the time.

    Think about it....
