The wife and I are already sick of the obnoxious candidate and ballot ads and there is still 39 days left until the midterm election. We now DVR every single show, and I can't wait for the pollsters to start calling and asking about ads. I'm going to tell them I fast forward at 16x speed. If I want to know about them I'll check their website.
Maybe the DVR will be the weapon that cuts down the ridiculous amount of $$ it takes to run a campaign. We can only hope...................

Personally, I can't sit through commercials. I buy entire seasons once they come out on DVD.
However, if they ads had no impact on the election outcome, one can assume that they wouldn't run them... -
All it is, is just mud slinging by each side with the hope that something sticks in a voters mind before pulling that lever. Stupid, I know but it obviously works for the sheep out there.
I do the same with some tv shows, just rent the whole season and zip through them commercial free.HT SYSTEM-
