Hi,
I just purchased some new speakers for a small bonus room (14'x 12'8"). The fronts are Polk Monitor 60's. The center is Polk CS2. The rears are the in-wall RC85i's. I need a sub to comlete the system. We mostly use the system for home theater. Can anyone recommend the correct Polk sub for this setup? Thanks!

The most common Polk sub to be recommended here is the PSW505. It is a good sub and really reasonably priced.Front - RTiA5's
Rear - RTiA3's
Center - CSiA4
Sub - PSW110 -

Thanks. Any thoughts on the PSW111? Fry's has it for $200.

Velodyne 3750 all the way. Polk RTI4's and CSI4 center rock.

The PSW111 is a good starter sub. It would be fine in a dorm/bedroom environment. If your main application is home theater and your budget is $200, I'd try to find a decent 12 inch sub...if you can swing and extra 50, I would step up to the Polk PSW505. Had some good reviews from J and R and newegg....

Check out a Velodyne VDR-10BV
I wanted to upgrade my sub performance from two PSW-111s to "something" better. While trying to decide which high quality maker would serve both music and movie masters, I stumbled across this discontinued unit thru Amazon.
Impressed with all the positive Velodyne chatter and by their product line up, I ordered this "value sub" in as a stop gap until I could ID the one I really wanted. If this sub trumped the 111s it could then go to the bedroom and replace them when the next one arrived.
Well, after about a month with this thing I'm not in any hurry to find its permanent replacement. Spec-wise, it hits right in the middle of Velodyne's current product line.
I believe there's like one left in the world and for less that $250 delivered it just may work for you.
It's working for me ...
