I did the norah jones when I first bought mine.. youl be blow away by her haunting sound on the esl panels

If you can go to pandora and have a listen to some electo music like..royksopp ... air !.. justice and what ever else is poppin

Tecno music on the becomes somthing amazing......I didnt get the best bass from my reciever so rock music realy sufferd until I got my tube amp to realy make that kick drum kick

On the martin logan forum alot would tell you that the esl realy suffer if they dont get a healthy infusion of power and this as Ive recently discoverd is very true but whatever youl do these speakers are amazing and only get better when you feed them somthing from the menu higher up the food chain

Ah...a few good Classicals, Symphony, Orchestra, Instrumentals tracks first and then move onto the voices.

It's always how I demo speakers and when changing gears for the speakers.

    Big Day Tomorrow for you!

If you're looking for acoustic instruments with female vocals, get Nickel Creek on SACD. Seriously... bluegrass instruments + clean recording. It sounds amazing.

Thats a sexy looking set of speakers
    ...
I dont think your ever gona realy get the full bang from them puppies until you replace the panels at later date . The good news on the panels is that you can buy the new ones and they have the aluminum rails instead of the wood trim and they have twice the surface area for outputing sound

I think they cost like $800

I see you have the lsi15 in the picture,It would be nice to hear your thoughts on a comparison somtime

They are the lsi25's and they are nice I think the tweeters like to get way out of hand at higher volumes. One thing I do not like is the woofers like to clip at big movie scenes and you have to watch your volume. Even with them crossed at....forget they still want to clip. They are my neighbors, I just thought sense i was watching their dogs that i would use his reviver and see how they sound. I think the panels do need to be replaced. they sound muffled as i said. I am not sure how much a cleaning is going to help. One is quite dusty. And i did vacuum them before plugging them in.

As for a comparison i will wait until the ML's are back in tip top shape.

Get the Alison Krauss & Union Station "Live" album, track 2, disc 2. This is a great live recording and this cut really shows off the depth of the sound stage those speaker will give you. It has male and female vocals, along with some kick-**** instrumental work. Congrats!
