Amp to power SR124?

Will I be able to power a SR124 with a JL Audio 500/1? From what I've read this amp is underrated and actually pushes 750W or so. Is that enough?

Also, would it be better to go with a single SR124 or two MM1240s instead?

    Since sr124 is rated 700W rms then your 750W will be perfect. That is IF your 500W amp actually does push 750W as u state it does.

    as for 1 sr or 2 mms - well, that depends on way to many things for us to be able to tell you which one is right for you.
