Would DB grill fit on SR sub??

I understand that it will fit since both are 12'' with same hole pattern but is db grill far away enought from the sub so it woun't keep on hitting it at max volumes (max extorsion) ?

    According to Polk DB grill is my best bet out of what Polk makes but it is still a little too small if i was to push that sub to it's max. Which i will LOL.
    I quess i'll need to get creative in this one :) Def need some protection to this sub thou, can't allow my cargo to damage it.

    I'm still looking for grilles as well for my SR124's. If you find something let me know.

    When i called Polk whoever picked up the phone (don't remember his name) said there's a grill sold at Parts Express that would fit perfectly fine. Not sure which one exactly but i'm sure same will be told to you when u call LOL.

    btw - post a link to that grill once u find it haha :)

    I checked parts express before and saw a few grilles, Dayton, Peavy. The depth did not look deep enough. But basically i want those styles. Full coverage.
