The local team didn't play well against the Bears. Same old story for the Cowboys, all that talent and no discipline and too many mistakes. That's beginning to sound like a broken record down here in Big D, I've been hearing that exact same sentiment on the radio shows for years now...

Luckily for Dallas everyone else in the division lost as well so they really didn't lose any ground and they're no worse off than they were before the game Sunday.

My Colts looked good last night, hard to believe that's the same team that played last week against the Texans. I felt bad for Eli, but he never had a chance.

So, how'd your team do?

when that pass rush gets set loose without any checking the Colts are terrifying. Seemed like an odd decision to kick-off to the Colts initially.. the G-men won that Coin Toss...

The Colts looked like a completely different team from week 1. I was not expecting a win, so I was pleasantly surprised.

The Vikings looked to be exactly the same team that played the Saints in week 1... no wait, they were FAR worse. Favre lost that game for the Vikings, but I expected that. I still see 3 and 5 for the first 8 games but I wouldnt be suprised if its worse than that. We've got the Lions at home and smart money is on the Lions to win.

Lions definitely look scrappy this year and you can't count them as an automatic win.. the Vikings won't be favored by much

    I disagree John,
I see the Vikings coming together and being a force in the division. Too much talent and a heck of a defense.
Favre coming in late has had an effect on the offense for the negative. Give 'em time and they'll play good football.
I'm not a Vikings fan or a Favre fan btw.

+1 - Vik's still should have pulled that game off.. was just a lot of goofy errors and plays going against them.. and they still had plenty of chances to win..

Favre really doesn't have much to throw to, which is part of the problem. Vick compensates by being more careful with his throws, which results in more completions (possibly) but also less big plays.

Favre compensates by throwing the bullet and expecting someone to catch it somewhere. That worked at Green Bay because of the receiving team he had around him his whole career. I don't think it'll work this year.

Fins looked good still; regardless of what mistakes Minnesota made. That defense was SOLID. Henne needs to keep developing in the right direction, and we could use another deep threat at WR, but overall the Fins could very well be good enough to at least get a wild card slot.

I'm not a Vikings fan or a Favre fan btw.

This is the NFL, and they play only 16 games. The Vikings will need a 12-4 year to have a shot to win the division, and they already gave away two games they should have won. The best shot they will have is a wildcard slot after blowing the first two, and coming from a Vikings fan, I have little hope of that either.

The Lions could be a shot of confidence that gets them going the right way, or they could be the dagger that ends Favre's career. I had no feelings one way or the other really for Favre coming back this year, but at this point I feel Tavaris Jackson or Joe Webb would be a better choice.

Dallas sucks and I didn't get to see any of it because the local stations aired Philly sucking all over the Lions. Philly better thank the good Lord that they still have Vick otherwise they'd be 0-2 right now.

    You've GOT to be kidding.
Bears have allowed 56 rushing yards in two games, 36 by Dallas. DB's were laying the wood to Dallas receivers, and they started to become tentative. Chicago's O-line made some adjustments, and you didn't hear Ware's name much, if at all in the second half. Like them or not, the Bears went on the road, and won that game. Bears had 2 penalties to Dallas' 6. It's not as if 55 net penalty yards decided this game.

I don't like the old man. If that drama queen had his old a$$ in camp, they might not look completely out of sync. Lots of people HAVE been rising up and catching the ball for him, mostly Defensive Backs.:p
