Everyone,
Is your BAT Pre felling a little dry and too analytical? DODD unit seeming a little lifeless?
There is hope, the ADCOM 555II Preamplifier.
I have for your consideration a 555II that I purchased as part of a package deal with an ADCOM GFA 555II that I have since sold.
It is a solid piece but shows it's age with some minor marks, and superficial scratches on its top.
The faceplate is very presentable and that is the most important side unless you store things in the audio rack differently then most of us.
I used it on initial purchase and it does work, since then it has been sitting in the closet.
I will split the shipping with the buyer, and will package to survive anything the Postal Service can dish out.
Shipping will be by Pony Express (US MAIL) only. Sorry UPS and FED EX are extremely unkind to us out here.
Just to be a pain in the backside, personal check or money order only since I really haven't quite figured out that Paypal thing.

The boonies in Alaska? Holy cow, you don't even use cell phones out there I imagine. I'll bite, but I'd want you to call me...I can walk you through setting up paypal. You understand a reluctance of sending a check to a stranger 3000 miles away...

I would be worried about taking a check from a stranger 3k miles away than receiving the goods. If Nathan wanted too im sure he could figure out how to open a PayPal account.
BTW if you think PayPal will protect you in some way outside of Ebay think again
REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all
