I went back to buy a cd I saw last night and they had just put out 200 albums.

I picked out 65 of them.

I got 2 David Gilmore solos in the bunch.

I didn't know he did them back then.

I walk past the rack all the time and see the same covers. This morn. I saw different covers and flipped a couple and knew I was in for a long searching period. I should've pulled all I wanted and then checked for their cond.. But since I checked everyone I pulled, there were two others that joined me as time went by.

A nice guy let me have a triple album "the Band. The Last Waltz".farewell concert. He was going to get it but said he already had it and since I was buying for personal reason, he said here ,you should like this. I, in return bought him a Nickel Creek cd I had found.

    Good score.

The manager at a GW i visit told me they had about a 1000 albums at the warehouse. She didn't know when they would get them into circulation among about three stores in the area. Be my luck they go out the day I don't go by there.

    1000...wow
I picked up doobie bros, led zepplin, alan parsons, elton John to name a few more.
They charge 1.00 a piece here and when the total was spoken to me, I couldn't believe I had that many. I came home and counted them and she was right. I still feel ok about the spending since I just got a turntable hooked into my system again and it sounds great too.

I've spent way too much lately but I think I'm about to slow way down and enjoy what I've aquired. I do have to order some RDO-198's still. It never ends does it.:)

I hit two local Goodwills every couple weeks or so, but I never really find anything to shout about. I was at one today and saw mostly "Inspirational", Lawrence Welk, etc... I did grab about 10 cds though. Some VanHalen, Rush, David Sanborn...

I did snag my first piece of GW electronics today... A really nice older Pioneer CT-F500 tape deck for a whopping $10.50.

I picked up a pair of rt400 polks about a month ago from the GW. $13.95. When I took off the grill I was positive the cones would be crushed. Perfect condition. Took them home, and put a nice black, satin finish on them and gave them to a fiend for her birthday. Sweet!:D

They raised the price from $0.99 to $1.49 here after I started buying GW vinyl. I do occasionally find some vinyl goodness, though.
