Do inductors have polarity?

Simple question. Ready to mod the RTA-15TL's and better safe than sorry.

Well, in one sense they can if they're placed very near another inductor, as one can incude emf in the other
(that's how a transformer works, actually), and the phase and degree of crosstalk depends on how
you orient and wire the inductors.
If one inductor is stacked on top of another, the polarity could make a difference.
In most well designed crossovers, it shouldn't make a differfence.
This doesn't apply to toroidal inductors.

Simple question....
Ricardo, fortunately you are north of the Equator so just make sure the windings are orientated in a clockwise rotation. If not, unroll and rewind it. This will ensure the henries obey Ampere's law and ensure the time-varying magnetic field does not go into a parallel universe.

That's very helpful Mike. I thought of moving back to Chile based on Rich's post, but now I'll just follow this one: seems to have the least interference.

Good point ,mutual coupling can be an issue with poor positioning.Well, in one sense they can if they're placed very near another inductor, as one can incude emf in the other
