I was going to try doing a couple of things, one building a matching center with the sl2000's and try to swap the tweeters of my sda srs 2.3 with some other ones, but I was wondering if anyone knew the ohm rating on these tweeters, so i could swap with some other comparable ones.

I've got original SL2000s from 1989 as well as the 'new' SL2000 with the black cone. I can easily look at a new one (still in the box) ... and can take out and check an old one if necessary. I'm at work and can't do it now anyway, but I'll try to check back on the forum tonight and see if you've got your answer. If not, I'll see if the tweeters say anything on the back. Let me know which version you're interested in... don't want to pull the old one out of the box if I don't have to.

Your quickest response might be calling customer service.

I looked on one and there isn't any info, but I believe it's 6 ohms. Like burdette said, check with Polk.

I asked but they said there was no info they could release to the public about these tweeters.

Did you talk to Ken Swauger? If not, call back and ask to speak with him.
